How the Therapy Works?

Fear of flying is an unnecessary restriction in your life, which limits your freedom of choice. There are 7 stages in our therapy:

  • Understanding how the aviation system works
  • Understanding human psychology, the nature of fear and panic, and how to deal with them
  • Learning to understand your own emotions and how to control them
  • Working with reflexes through exposure therapy

The therapy treatment can be conducted either online or offline, either one available practically anywhere in the world.

WHAT’S THE THERAPY ABOUT?

I USED TO FLY FINE BEFORE – WHAT COULD HAVE SET OFF THE FEAR NOW?

Instead of focusing on false assumptions that flying = danger, we discussing the root reasons that cause fear of flying.

MY TERROR IS THE MOST TERRIFYING AND MY FEAR IS JUSTIFIED, SO NOTHING OR NO ONE CAN EVER HELP ME.

The way to stop being afraid to fly is the same way you started it – by learning how to do it.

I CAN UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING LOGICALLY, BUT I STILL CANNOT ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

We analyze your thinking and detect those patterns that cause fear in order to correct them and change to the right information about flight, airplanes and ways to control fear. “I need to control everything and I can’t do it during the flight”. It is impossible to escape if something happens on the plane. “I don’t trust people, especially those, whom I don’t even know”. Planes crash all the time. “What if I happen to be among those tiny portion of a percent who do crush on a plane?” These and many other incorrect logical statements that we’ll identify and correct during our therapy.

MY FEAR IS MORE ABOUT MY EMOTIONAL STATE ON THE PLANE RATHER THAN A TECHNICAL ISSUE

That is a very common problem that about 40% of people have. We teach you how to deal with your emotions and how to cope with an inappropriate emotional state during the flight.

I UNABLE TO STAY CALM KNOWING THAT THERE IS A 10KM ABYSS BENEATH

This illogical conclusion comes from lack of information about aviation. Learning more about aerodynamics, turbulence, and meteorology will help you correct such thoughts and understand better the entire flight process.

We study fear from psychological point of view, every aspect of it – you will learn how to cope with your emotions and control your fear instead of trying to control any external factors.

I DON’T FEEL SAFE DURING TURBULENCE

You will learn about the nature of turbulence and why it is just the matter of your comfort rather than safety because of our perception.

STILL SOMETHING CAN GO WRONG

Most of the people who are afraid to fly tend to have a catastrophic way of thinking, which is mainly caused by your imagination. You will learn how to prevent negative thoughts and how to control your mind during the flight.

WHEN I AM ON A PLANE I CANNOT CONTROL MY THOUGHTS

That happens because when getting on a plane you get an adrenaline spike that blocks logical thinking and can even cause a panic attack. You will be taught different methods and techniques that will help you prevent adrenaline spikes and block the fear.
